Questions Over Previous Stories

  Since there is not a clear path for my future and whether or not I can continue this blog soon after a month of preparing I will go ahead and answer some questions that may be going through your head.Yes, I love you all enough to continue. However, the time in which I am able to be on a device that will let me write and a quiet place to retreat to is limited, I can only do what I can.

  Question 1: Will you be continuing Revelation of Dragons?

    I cannot say I won't because I want to continue. However, unless the road clears for the next few months I cannot allow all of you to be sitting on the edge of your seats for something that I may not create. The world of Revelation of Dragons will continue to exist but at this moment time I will not be continuing. With all the passion in my heart, I am sorry.

  Question 2: Will you be continue the Percy Jackson Fanfiction "The Descendant"?

    If you are a fan of the Percy Jackson series. There are many series Rick Riordan has written. (He is also from Texas by the way :3). The following series are: Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Heroes of Olympus, The Kane Chronicles, Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, and The Apollo Trials. He has many more books as well. However, these are the ones that I know of and have read up until this post.

  Will I continue the fanfiction? Again, I want to. However, it is not a focus I have at this moment.

  Question 3: Do you still run the Dragon Dungeon tumblr?

    Due to Yahoo buying out Tumblr, adding on ads, and infecting Tumblr with viruses (like it does with anything else it touches). No. I would like to start another dragon blog in the future if it were possible. However, from my experience with yahoo (not saying everyone should stop using the browser if you prefer it). I am willing to interact with the website any longer.

  This also includes the Dragon Gallery and Dragon Newsfeed. 

  Question 4: Do you still use DeviantART?

    For the most part... No. Keeping up with the dragons on that website is fun. However, it has also caused me virus problems and as I mentioned in the previous question I have no place to put the art, easily anyway.

  (Further Explanation) When it came to linking the DeviantARTs to Tumblr, all I had to do was press a button and add the tags. And even then all I did was copy and past tags and references. If I were to do that on this blog in a different page all together I would have to look up how to code everything. (Not saying that I am not willing to do so because I find coding fun) However, again. I do have the time to set up another dragon blog.

Question 5: Will you be using Facebook?

    I hardly do in my personal life. So this one has always been a *shrug* situation for me. I haven't logged into the facebook I connect all of you with for months. I cannot say I will start now. What I am saying is, probably not.

Question 6: Will you be updating "Other Dragon Stories"?

  When you click on that tab it sends you to the Tumblr page that I created. No, I will not update that page. However, I will make a page that specifically stays on this blog that serves the same purpose. That way, all of you can continue to share your writings with me and I can avoid using Tumblr. The link will be announced when I get it done.

  Submit to me the writings that you all have whether it's Wattpad, a blog, on Tumblr, ANYWHERE. I do not personally care. I want to let everyone who interacts with me to hear you all out because all of you have a voice, why not let it out?
 
Question 7: Will you be using Wattpad?

    No. I applaud the website for it's purpose. To share stories among all writing levels. The problem I have with this website is the same for Tumblr and for DevianART I've had many virus issues with these websites. I will, add your story to the page. I don't mind! However, I will not be participating on Wattpad any longer.

Question 8: Would you be willing to read my story and review it?

    I am not here to criticize anyone's writing any longer. I do not have the time for it. Not to sound rude. I mentioned at the begging that I am already on a tight schedule. There are many people out there willing to criticize your work. All I will do is share it so that it gets views.

  Question 9: Will the post for this new story be posted weekly?

    That is my plan! That's is why I said 52 parts. This does not mean I will finish the story. Although, I need to get better at ending my stories rather than continuing them to go on forever.

  Question 10: Are we allowed to know what's going on in your personal life?

    I probably worded that question weird for all of you. But the point is this. Everyone has their ups and downs in life. At this time I'm not exactly in a complete bad position but I am not in one that is easily dealt with. I rather all of you focus on your life and hope for the best. You can check up on me on Google+ if you'd like. But no, I am not going to get into details of what is going on at this moment.

About "Taking Flight"

  There are many quest that I wish to accomplish for myself. Writing wise, I have always wanted to expand on my vocabulary. Over the years I have tried to push my expanse in vocabulary with different blogs but I've come to settle on handling this one. I love mythology and I know all of you out there love it as well.

  The purpose of "Taking Flight" is to bring back the world that I created in Revelation of Dragons. It takes place at a different time than Rev of Dragons but the worlds are still the same. Since, I haven't lived anywhere besides Texas I tend to gear every character starting in this state. After all, it is my home.

  This story will contain vocabulary words from the Sadlier-Oxford websites. At school, when I was in English (before I started college courses my sophomore year in high school) the vocabulary assignments geared towards the Sadlier-Oxford vocabulary.

  My goal one day is to be a teacher and I hope that I can get this set up now so I can refer to it in the future. Each post will contain about one thousand words to keep things simple and will be broken into parts as each is written and exceeds or does not exceed one thousand words.

  There will also be a pairing of each post to the set of vocabulary words I used. This way if anyone is interested in learning new vocabulary or seeing how I used the word they are welcome to easily access it. What I will do for each word is link it to it's definition based on dictionary.com. This will only be linked to the first use of the word in each chapter. If I reuse the world through a chapter it will not be underlined for clear reading purposes.

  Depending on what the vocabulary word is I shall be reusing it through the chapters. What I will try to do is use each word three times in order to give enough examples on how the word is used. Now, of course I will not be using each word in a literal sense all the time. If I wrote like that, my stories would be bland. Hopefully, this can help those who are interested in learning new vocabulary.

  In the Sadlier-Oxford vocabulary books there are different levels of vocabulary. I will be starting with Level A until I reach Level H. Level A vocabulary is meant to be for 6th graders (in America). I am unsure what grade that would be in Europe or anywhere since I know that there are different school systems around the world.

  What I've learned about my audience is that I do not actually have a higher percentage of views overall from the Americas. (Which is neat! Don't get me wrong). This is why I make it a point to try and expand language, history, and references so that I can learn about my audience as well as learn about mythology.

  This will be the third year for this blog and even though I haven't been able to keep it up constantly I am still overjoyed that I have viewers. Thank you all. And hopefully you will enjoy this story as well. My main focus for 2017 will be to complete 52 post while writing "Taking Flight" and using at least 52 units in the Sadlier-Oxford Vocabulary books.

  I am open to linking my viewers stories through my blog as well. Whether it is mythology based or not. PLEASE submit to me any writings that you would like to get out there. Because we all start somewhere. Why not start here?

Quest for 2017

  For those of you who still check this blog out since I've created it in 2014 I want to give you all a thanks. As of right now my life may be changing drastically and I cannot control a lot of what is going on around me so, since I do have a few minutes to myself for now I will be working on bringing you all a story to enjoy for what time I can.

  My goal in making this blog was geared towards researching mythology. I still love reading about it and gathering the information together. However, I've come to find how difficult it is to say steady with this and my actual life. So, this is what I am going to do.

  Since I have time now, I'll start  writing you all a story that hopefully you will like. Feedback is something I would love but I also don't check my email 24/7 so for those of you who check up on me and any updates I'm happy enough. Spread the world, show people that you like this blog and would like them to get into it as well.

  There's a lot I need to fix on this blog but for now I will do this. I won't actually post any of the story until January that way I have some time to think this all over. But feel free to email me and tell me what you'd like me to research.

  Again, for those of you who have come back after all these months. Thank you. And for those of you who happen to stumble upon this blog, feel free to browse. There's a lot to read and I tried to organize it to the best of my ability.

Little Hints and Realizations

  After rereading chapters one through seven in Revelation of Dragons 2014 I realize I made quite a few mistakes. I mentioned that Xeq ad Zamer were not engaged so I went back and changed that... I also known that one of the chapters in 2014 is pointless. That's chapter eight which is called "Trying Again" It mentions Mikey's somewhat crush on his friend's sister. BUT in 2015 he gets a girlfriend so... What? Lol

  Another little mistake I made is that I thought Vile was 17 this whole time. Turns out I wrote him as 18. So it looks like I'm going to have to start taking notes. Usually I can retain all this information but over a year time spam? Some gets lost. I also know that I say that Xeq was 19 later. Orignally I meant for him to 20. UGH.

  There is also a scene where Mikey and Vile go to New York. HOWEVER if they did that means Luis would have run into them. Considering that the new rule I made up for the treaty consist of one male and one female dragon and yet... they're both males so he would have had to do something then.

  I also know that in the current story the time is Thanksgiving. That's what I meant for it be and yet... What time did the other part of the story take place. I knew it was short but I still need to know myu references.

  According to my first mentioning of Vile's eyes I said that they were Hazel which is fine because they can change colors. Later on, I say that is eyes are Oceanic blue then Sea green so at the same time of Hazel being different colors. I seriously need to set something in stone XD.

  When I wrote in Luis I also realized that he doesn't have an eye color set. I said his father had chocolate brown eyes. But when I talked about him and his dragon form I forgot to choose a color so I'm sitting here thinking yellow and red BUT FLINT/FELIX has red orange eyes and a crimson tint.

  Mistaking Flint and Felix seriously pissed me off. I wrote a one shot with the guy name Flint but then I carried that into the story and that's when the problems started to arise. When he first mentioned he's Felix the rest of the time? He's Flint. And I don't want to keep his name as Flint. I like Felix so! With further or do I'd like all of you to know that Flint IS Felix and since blogger doesn't re post on the day you posted I'll have to wait until I can put it up for edit. What a stupid. Stupid. Mistake.

  Alas I still have Gwyne up in the air. I'm thinking Griffin but who knows. She needs to be something that comes in between Dragon and Dragon Slayer. Something that wants to deceive both dragon and human? Or anything mythical at all? I don't know I sort of want to make her a villain or someone who's in the way.

  I do know that when I wrote about Racheal in the fanfiction I misspelled her name so... Who knows how much other shit I'm going to throw myself into when I check back on that story. For those of you who don't know I'll be going on vacation for six weeks. End of May to early July so I'm hoping to cover up to the end of July at least in both stories.

  With this whole new Dragon Slayer concept I can work up chapters especially since I'm giving Mikey a main plot now. I can't wait until my cousin sees this. He's going to be like O_o whoa. I'm involved. But anyways. Mikey and Bahram are going to have some fun later on. Especially since I have a few secrets I'm going to keep from you because we don't spoilers. Telling you all about Gwyne is more an idea and a concept. It isn't exact information so I can tell you about her all I want because I still have no idea what she's going on set. I mean "who the hell is she" XD

  Revelation of Dragons 2014 is more about research. You have my modern mix in their about the Hydra's Heart because that's not true. I made it up. But that's the fun of story making. Then you have the Wyvern and me trying to figure out what they are and their history. (None of the books I have contain information about them by the way).

  When I did a survey with a few of you I got the fact that you all wanted Nose mythology. I've avoided Thor and Loki not on purpose but because I didn't know how to add them in there but I promise, you will see them... eventually.

  I'm thinking because Mikey is involved with the God of the sea (also known as a giant not a God) he may run into Thor or Loki but not interact with them majorly because of the curse. OR maybe he even gets cursed again who knows... Maybe I can get Bahram involved in the gods. I haven't heard many bad stories about Thor but that's only because I haven't done my research now that I have a book containing most of the Gods I can go through them and search. I also have a extented source. It only does good enough to tell me what exist where but that's enough to say.

  Texas has the chupacabra and New York has something but I can't think of the name at the moment. I sort of Supernatural when I view the map that have of superstitions. I don't want the brothers to go into each state fighting and meeting those superstitions but I would like to have a time where those superstitions are met!

  There might be a human involved in that story who realizes that there's more to this world and begins to see all the myths come to life. I don't really care for fairy tails but fairies.. Old time 'I'm going to steal your newborn' fairies? I'm going to add them in. Now, I'd like to enlighten all of you with Grimm's but at the same time... That's an arch to wait for since I don't have the book that contains them all.

  Pretty soon there will be too many characters and so many stories... I want to add a werewolf. I already have but he's not too dominate yet. I'm thinking Werewolf Vampire war but that might be too cliche. Maybe Vampires and Werewolves have to work together against a common enemy?

  Defiantly the Blood bathing Fairies though... Who commit cannibalism... I can write murders and deaths. However, at the same time this is about learning. I'm making it into a fun little story. Maybe I should remember that. I do know that I wrote two sex scenes XD.  I'll try to stray away from that.

  What I find interesting is the fact that I start off a lot of stories that way and then it completely goes off somewhere. It's either that or murder. I can always go back on the Feng Shui and I mentioned astrology. Now that would be fun too.

  You all know that you have a say in how the story goes so if you want me to look up a certain subject tell me and I will! I better back to writing the actual story since I need to write at least 13 chapters for Revelation of Dragons before I leave and at least 8 for TheDescendant which I also need to edit... XD

New Reference Blog and Story Thoughts

  Recently I have run into a blog called sixpencee. He has been around since July of 2013, or at least the blog anyways. I wish I could find one over mythology but maybe that's my calling who knows. I brought up the attention for Dragon Blogs so this also might be my quest. I also might not be looking well enough.

  I've chosen this month's set ups. I need to write my friend a story or get him something. I may give him a ton of links for college references. That's more than a gift. But he's a music guy. I have another idea for him. 

  Anywho, so this week I'll be writing about Griffins. I like them so far. Never really cared for them but after reading about them I think they'd make a good enemy for our trio + 1. I seriously haven't dome anything with Gywne yet. Man she is a problem. I need her to be important but in a mythology sense. I'll figure that out later. For now we're going through this arch that will hopefully last fifty two weeks. I really do enjoy writing these stories. I only hope all of you enjoy reading them. This is a place where all of you can learn what I've learned and think of what you believe. As always I state my opinion but also, I need all of you to know tat it is an opinion. I don't ever want to set anything in stone for all of you. 

  Like Atlantis for example. It was all about location and then... It became more about what it was rather than where it is. I still have my stack of Norwegian books. I haven't put a dent into it actually. Mikey is my character who can fill in on anything. Since he's in England he doesn't have to deal with the every day life of Xeq and Vile. Not yet anyways but I think I'll keep it that way since he has to have three hundred and six fie stories per arch on his behalf since I wrote it that way. He's my information dragon. There's this book I bought and I wanted to dispose of it but I feel the need to write about it first so I'll have him go through or tell the stories. 

  I'm most intrigued by Xeq and Mikey. I really need to take out this whole love romance aspect in my writing it gets in the way for the most part. I'll have to make a 'reference' physical folder and hide it somewhere I know that's safe. I'm planning on putting shelves in my room across the top to store my important memories or documents. My wall is bare and I plan on to theme my room around my url (wingedvicefandomgeekdragon). Yes, I am about in my 20's and I'm about to do this. I don't even care lol. 

  My original plan with Gywne was to write about the Zodiac but I can't seem to feel her in being that. Maybe she could be a connection to the griffins but I am still unsure. I also have lost the charger to my laptop so... that's why I cant update as much. Not that you guys notice you're watching my schedule. 

  But anyways yea so Xeq in China will be a main plot. Mikey with his adventures throughout Norse mythology is another and then there's the new plot with Luis. I'm wanting to make Zamer more important as well so y'all will be seeing more of her. Vile has his subplot and I'll be introducing Flint's importance. So by the end of this year we'll have six characters and their plots with one still not set. I am curious though, if I wrote a book version of this would y'all read it? There's a writing group that wants me to join them as professional writers but I need to give them something and the one I've been working on for years isn't the one I feel needs to go to them yet. I started another story in a different part of that world but I'll be wanting to write at least five thousand words per chapter to try and show my abilities to them. I know I can write a thousand and shoot two thousand isn't a problem but now that I've been able to write so much I need to prove it to the judges.  All I hope is that you guys will support me. This blog only runs because of all of you. (And the fact that I like learning and sharing with people) 

  I'm also thinking of fixing my PayPal first of all. Then I can fix a donation button but only towards certain causes. There are people on tumblr in need and I can't stand it but I can't keep giving if I don't have anything to give you know? So hopefully I can make a difference. People are waiting for me to publish. It's sort of intimidating but I know I have abilities, will power, and talent to help me get through this and I also have all of you.
   

  Quick redirect to sixpencee, he's a blog on tumblr that shares paranormal stories and information but he also post about science. These are two subjects that catch my attention so look forward to me writing about those. He has a post about supernatural legend and even though I serious do not care for the Chupacabra I have to accept the fact that it's a 'legend'. So, along with all the other mythical creatures of older times I'll be writing about them too.

  I haven't worked on either story lately. I need to. I also need to get editing on the Revelation of Dragons 2014. I can't believe I wrote that a year ago. It seriously bothers me how I started it XD. So I'll be working on those. I'm also thinking of writing more short stories for Wednesdays. They're only for fun. Nothing too serious.
