Today's Glance: Europe

Imagination can drive someone wild. In ways people can say mad while others call it a beautiful insane. The history of dragons. Such a broad topic. Throughout the world their legends stand. Naturally, this gives a scientific aspect as well as a fictional one. Either way, there is one statement either believer can understand. Dragons are magnificent creatures.

  A trip to Europe

Each belief is different. Through the eyes of the Europeans lurks a deadly, powerful, and cruel beast. Known for eating humans, stealing sheep/cattle, guarding treasures and nesting in caves. There are many tales of Dragons. Ex: The Swiss Knight Heinrich Von Winkelried managed to kill a dragon but died moments after he touched its poisonous body.

  Basilisk:
A dragon like creature in European stories. Described as a giant snake or lizard with a crown-shaped crest. Some authors called it the king of serpents and claimed it to kill a man with a single glance (oohhh Medusa…)

Location: Caves, Marshes, near places where farm animals graze.

Description: May have wings, kills people with poisonous breath, can strangle large animals with its tail, four legs, two, or none.

**I was tempted to write a short story but I've been sick for a week now and this new medication isn't doing my thought process any justice. In any case I will find a way to speak with all of you eventually... For now please accept this token of "I tried."
