Week Thirteen: Unhinged: Fhei V

Five minutes went by as little Fhei’s abilities began to harshen and tear apart the room. Her parents shouted at each other to figure out a plan to get the headset off of her. At one point, her mother suggested an ‘off’ switch idea. However, once the switch flew past her face, she realized that her idea was shot in the dirt.

Facing little Fhei, her father shouted to her. “Think about stopping everything that’s happening right now.” He urged. “I believe you can do it, Love. Tell the space in front of you to stop everything.” He suggested. “It’s a long shot, but believe me, Love. Something will happen!” He exclaimed, shielding his wife from another piece of metal.

Frustrated, little Fhei put her hands to her temples. “It hurts…” She muttered. “Stop hurting…” She mumbled to herself. Rubbing her temples she shut her eyes and shouted with all the frustration within her. “STOP!” She screamed.

Instantly, metals dropped to the ground, the vortex’s around them dropped and the gear flew into one of the screens on the opposite side of the room as her. Embracing each other, the parents then turned to their daughter. The first to embrace her was her mother.

“I am so sorry, Honey.” She said holding her tight. “I didn’t know how to make it go away.”

In tears, little Fhei hugged her mother tight. “It’s okay Mommy, it’s over now and my head still hurts but the ringing stopped.”

“Ringing?” She questioned as her husband went in to hug his daughter.

“What ringing is she talking about?” She asked him.

“I love you, and I’m never going to ask you to do something like this again, okay, Love?” He said as he kissed her forehead. “I didn’t realize that there was more than Mythics out there…” He muttered. “I can’t say you’re a new species because you’re still my daughter but you are something phenomenal.” He exclaimed.

“I’m not mad that you asked me to do this…” Little Fhei said as she looked at her father. “You like seeing new things.” She shrugged. “Maybe I’m supposed to help you…” She shrugged. “But I don’t want to help unless you stop the loud noises, okay Daddy?” She questioned.

“I can do that, Love.” Fhei’s father said as he hugged her again.

“You don’t suppose asking her to get me home in a jiff would be too much?” His wife asked jokingly. “I mean, the stove is on.”

Fhei’s father laughed. “If she knew how to control her powers I wouldn’t mind asking but I don’t believe the kitchen will be a place she can conjurer again.” He smiled.
“I’ll call my sister.” She laughed. “But we are having a talk about this later.” She said with warning eyes. “What happened can’t be ignored.” She commented. “However, she is still our child.” She eyed him. “Do what you can to not hurt her…” She sighed. “Please.”

Nodding, Her father picked her up and headed out the door, in no time at all, she had fallen asleep, forcing the scene to blur and change again.

 --

As the scene cleared, Fhei stood in front of the living room fire once again. This time, she was her age and reading a book on the recliner while one of her brothers typed away on his laptop and the other painted on a canvas on the opposite side of her. The house was peaceful. Her mother was in the kitchen and her father was in the corner of the room doing paperwork. When suddenly a flame erupted from their front door.

“Gideon Rue!” A voice bellowed in anger as he stepped through the flames. “You and I have some talking to do,”

“Glancing over at his kids, Gideon stood. “That’s fine.” He said gently. Allow this to be between me and you.” He spoke softly. “Leave my family out of this.”

“Oh?” The Khalkotauroi laughed. “You did this to me.” It growled. “What makes you think that you give me commands?”

Turning to herself, Fhei wondered if she knew of her own power. There couldn’t have been another incident where she randomly forgot what she had done as a child. Oddly enough, she was positive that at least her brothers would remember but the two were on guard and so was she. However, she didn’t seem to have any abilities this time.

“Outside, please.” Her father begged. “I’ll do what I can to answer questions, I’ll do whatever it is you want.” He sighed. “Leave. My. Family. Out. Of. This.” He said, now sounding more forceful.

Roaring fire in Frei and her brother’s direction, Fhei quickly shielded her brothers, letting out a scream of pain.

“At least you know that one of your children is brave!” The Khalkotauroi exclaimed, tearing a part of the stairs off. Breathing fire on it, the Khalkotauroi met Fhei’s father’s eyes again. “Don’t make me throw this.” It growled.

Aggravated, her father stood with his hands in the air. “Outside. Now.” He exclaimed, pointing towards the door to the backyard. “It’s either there, or I’ll start calling people.”

Laughing, the Khalkotauroi threw the piece of wood at the backyard door causing it to slam into the fence. “Ladies first!” It laughed.

Stepping outside, Fhei’s father turned to face the Khalkotauroi. “What do you want me to do?” He asked.

“FIX ME.” It demanded. “You’re the one who figured out that I’m part bull.” It huffed. “Turn me back into a regular human!” He demanded, Spewing out fire onto the fresh grass..

“I can’t.” Fhei’s father shook his head as he saw his wife and one of the boys head to the garage through the window. “But we’d have to go to my lab. My house had none of my supplies.” He explained.

“Oh?”! The Khalkotauroi grinned. “So you won’t be needing….” He turned as he roared out fire. “This?”! He said as he set the side of the house on fire.

“Hopefully your kids are like me.” It snarled. “Or maybe you came up with a serum to prevent them from turning into a monster like me.” He cursed as he punched a hole into the side of the house.

“No…” Fhei’s father said, partly in tears. “If there was a serem it would be on market by now…” He frowned. “Please…” He said, now fully allow himself to blur his vision. “My family’s in there. Let’s get to the lab and give them time to get out…” He begged.

Laughing, the Khalkotauroi snarled and roared once more, but this time looked up to the second floor. “Let’s see your family get out of that.” He bellowed into laughter, then collected Gideon by the collar, then kicked down the fence to head towards the lab.

Week Twelve: Unhinged: Nightmare II

Her breath in her chest beat as Vali emerged in tears. Awake, she was fully awake, thankfully. She felt the weight of her body anchor her but when she moved, she stumbled then took a breath. Oh no, not again. It had been months since she last projected, why she would do it now was beyond her.

Feeling her weightless self she touched her body. At least she was breathing. Sometimes, when she projected her body would freeze, as if time had frozen and at that point she would need to find whatever it was that she was supposed to find before she could return to her body. Cursing, Vali walked over to her brothers room where he was sound asleep.

“As I always do…” She smiled as she kissed his forehead. “I will return. No matter how long it takes.”

Sometimes, it would take days. There was a time it took months, almost a year for her to return but she could hear her younger brother cry as he told her about his day and how much he missed her. Other times, she could feel his eyes on her and then later, maybe the following morning or the next he would tell her, “I know you think I’m crazy but I could have sworn I saw you. I always try to call out to you even though I know you can’t hear me but one of these days maybe you’ll be able to hear me and come home.”

Her emotions swarmed her as she felt a heavy heart in her chest. In her sleep, if she felt any emotional pain she would feel it ten times worse in this dimension. She smirked as she continued to walk away from her house and into the neighborhood. The love for her brother was strong but the pain she felt for her brother was also intense because she always found herself regretting this double life of hers.

One time, when she went into her coma state and was able to hear her brother speak, she had apparently had been gone for three months. However, so had he. The amount of remorse he felt for getting in his first relationship and never once taking a step into her bedroom to tell her goodnight weighed heavy on his heart. He never forgave himself despite the amount of comfort she gave to him when she came to. Although, what he didn’t know was that she also never forgave herself for she was not able to be there for his first love and his first heartbreak.

As if it were a sixth sense, a color emerged in her thoughts. Its warmth and her attraction to it feel deeply within her. This was impossible. She had buried this memory long ago. She locked it away under barriers and barriers of locks that she threw the keys away to. Why was this feeling emerging now? Memory coming to the forefront of her mind she frowned. The last time she had been gone for almost a year it was because of this feeling. She was trying to run from it and at the same time it pulled her in. More importantly, the last time she had an addition to her hell in sleep she projected like so and found herself in love.

Meeting his hazel eyes, she bit her lip in annoyance. He was home, wherever that was, in his room, waiting for her. There was something different about him, she could feel the ware on his as his memories coursed through her eyes. He broke them down. It took two full actual years but he broke down every barrier that she had placed on his memory and was now beaten out of his strength. He hummed a tune that fluttered her heart, one that he knew in his language but couldn’t explain to her in hers. It didn’t matter. In this world, she knew every word and what it meant to him.

He stood away from his body, looking out the window as if something was going to change about the scene. Something else was different about him, he seemed, heavier. Not physically, but in his heart. She felt his anxiety of not being able to reach her. The depression washed over her as she was enlightened about his discovery of the first barrier. She could also hear her say to him, in a stern voice, “I have to go. Even though I absolutely love everything about you. I have a life to return to. A real one.”

He was remembering the last time they spoke. The last kiss lingered on her lips. Cursing, she could feel the regret in his heart as he tried to move on in the physical world but despite his efforts, he couldn. He couldn’t understand why none of his physical relationships were even close to theirs. A smirk came upon her lips. Could it even be considered a relationship consider that she was in a coma in the physical world and he would return to her after going to sleep in his?

“Two years.” She said to herself, although she knew he could hear her. “You know, maybe you should physically meet up with me since you’ve gone through all this trouble.”

A mixture of emotions coursed through him as he heard her voice for the first time since two years ago. “I don’t think you understand how much I want to yell at you.” He said quietly, under his breath. “Those barriers you placed…” Tears collected in his eyes. “They were created specifically to make sure I wasn’t going to be able to contact you.”

There was a pause as he she felt him push away the anger. “But it doesn’t matter how much I want to yell, scream, embrace you, or anything honestly.” He said as she felt his tears flow down his cheeks. “Is it too much to ask to speak to you?” His voice cracked as he began to sob.

“What I don’t understand is how you can love me…” He said, his breath heavy. “And then turn away to forget about me…” He wondered.

His emotions flowed rapidly through her body. Slamming into the weightless body she acquired, she clenched her hands into a fist and then fell to her knees to stare at the asphalt of the road. She wasn’t going to go to him. After what she had put her brother though she swore that she would never do this again. Every minute could be longer in the real world and every moment she spent wasting her time, the more distance from her brother she would be..

“Your brother means that much to you?” He said, his voice clearing. There was a happiness and sadness that fluctuated in his voice. “I’m not going to ask you to not be with him, or you real life…” He whispered. “What I’m asking…” He said with a sigh. “Is…” He paused. “Can you make time for me?”

Week Eleven: Unhinged: Fhei IV

Sparks flew as a command was entered into the system. Stepping back, Fhei’s father assured little Fhei that everything was going to be okay. Feeling a surge run through her body, little Fhei hasped, as a green flash appeared on the screen in front of her father’s colleague.

“Well, will you look that.” Her father’s colleague grinned. “It looks like we have a match.”

Excited, Fhei’s father jumped and clapped in joy. “My beloved!” He exclaimed. “It looks like you’re a mythic!” He exclaimed in ecstaticness.

Uncomfortable, little Fhei shuffled. “Daddy, it makes my head hurt.” She complained. “Make the ring go away.”

“Ring?” His colleague questioned. “So far we’ve only had certain types of mythics but none of them have complained about a ‘ringing’.” He commented. “Maybe your daughter is a new mythic?” He suggested.

Shaking his head, Fhei’s father sighed. “If any of the kids get hurt, Lydia will have my head.We have to stop this experiment.” He sighed.

“Understood.” The colleague said as he reached for the keys to punch in another command. As sparks flew from the keypad, his colleague jolted back. “Looks like we have a problem, Gideon.” He exclaimed.

Carefully and quickly, Gideon reach for the headset that was placed on his daughter's head. Getting zapped, Gideon backed away and shielded her other two children. In pain, little Fhei let out a scream and attempted to rip off the headset, only to send more sparks flying.

Fhei watched as the younger het tried to rustle out of the hands of the technology, only to make a discovery about herself.

“Make it stop, Daddy!” She yelled on top of her lungs.

“I would if I could, Love, but the tech is reacting to you and your abilities as a mythic!” He exclaimed.

“Think of the first animal you’d want to be!” Exclaimed the colleague. “Think about how cool it would be to be a mermaid or something!” He suggested. .

“Okay!” She shouted, over the siren that had triggered from the device.

“It’s overloading!” Shouted the colleague. :”I’ll stay here with her, you take your sons out of here!” The colleague exclaimed.

“No!” Gideon shouted. “You take my boys, I have to stay with my, baby.” He expressed. “If she gets hurt, I need to be here with her.”

“The tech is malfunctioning!” His colleague shouted. “Are you sure?”!

“Yes!” He shouted as he ushered the two boys and his colleague towards the door. “She can’t go through this alone, this was my idea in the first place!” He exclaimed. “Keep those two safe!” He said as he turned to see a pitch blackness appear next to little Fhei.

Amused, but also concerned, her father walked up to it and gasped as he realized that the little dots decorating the pitch back were stars.

“Love!” He exclaimed. “Can you hear me?”! He shouted, right in her face.

“Daddy, the world’s so far away. I want to go home, please!” She shouted.

“Yes, Love, I’ll let you go home!” He exclaimed. “All we have to do is unhook you and then we can go home, to mommy,” He shouted.

Reaching for the headgear, Fhei’s father tugged and drew back as a vortex appear around his child. Shielding himself, he turned in time to see a vortex open up and showed a picture of Fhei’s mother. She was singing to a favorite band of hers and getting dinner ready.

“Mommy?” Little Fhei asked with her eyes closed. “Daddy, make it stop so we can go see Mommy.” She exclaimed and began to cry.

Turning, Fhei’s mother stared bewildered. “Gideon?” She mouthed as she put the knife down from cutting vegetables. Mouthing a question, she stepped towards the two.

“Love, don’t come any closer!” Fhei’s father exclaimed. “Once I get our daughter out of this I’ll make sure that I never do this to our children again!” He shouted.

“I can hear you?”! She exclaimed in curiosity as she placed her hand on what seemed to be the barrier between the two’s location. :What’s going on, Gideon?”! She shouted. “I’m at home. You should be-”

“I am! I’m at work! I told you I’d take the kids and see if they were mythics but this is COMPLETELY different!” He exclaimed. “I’m not sure what our daughter is doing but it’s overriding our systems, Love.”

“You mean, my baby’s in danger.” She yelled back. “Gideon, I swear!” She yelled, stepping into the vortex. Exclaiming, Fhei’s mother stumbled forward, now standing in the wind whistling and sparking lab.

“How… did you?” Her husband asked in awe.

Wide eyed, Fhei’s mom shook her head. “I’m not sure.” She said then took a moment to breath then returned to her yelling tone. “But if this is a sign that I have to save my baby then I will!” She exclaimed, walking towards, little Fhei.

“Mommy?” Little Fhei questioned, opening her eyes to see not only the vortex that lead to the kitchen of their home but also the vortex of pitch black with little lights that reminded her of stars.

”Fhei!” Her mother called out to her, slowly inching towards her. “Think of your brothers…” She called. “You have to calm down baby.” She directed. “These machines are reacting to you so you have to make them stop.” She said as she got closer.

“Mommy…” She said as tears continued to fall. “Make it stop, my head hurts, and there is a ringing in my ears.” She said as parts of equipment tore off and slammed into the opposite side of the room.

Turning to her husband in aggravation, Fhei’s mother crossed her arms. “What did I say about hurting my children?”! She yelled.

“Love, I’d like to argue right now. But this…” He shook his head. “This is nothing we’ve experienced before. Mythics is short for Mythical creatures. What she’s doing…” Her father shook his head in awe. “She’s creating portals and overlapping distances. I…” He hesitated. “I didn’t even know that was possible.”

“You’re saying she’s not a mythic?” His wife asked as she stepped closer and ducked to avoid a piece of flying equipment.

“I don’t know.” Her father admitted. “All I know is that I try to get close and she repels me somehow.”

Approaching little Fhei, Fhei touched the vortex that her father was talking about. She wasn’t actually at the scene but what did she do to get out of the mess she made? Glancing over at the two vortexes, Fhei wondered. Was she still able to do that?

Week Ten: Unhinged: Dax IV

A shudder ran down Dax’s spine as he made a run for it. There seemed to be something wrong with his predators but this wasn’t the time to think or thank whatever the cause was. They were blind to him and he needed to use this opportunity. Adrenaline rushed through him as he ran. Back in the City of Relics he would have scolded himself for running at any distance since there were mythics of faster race than himself that could make him look like a creature of the water trying to fly but out here he had no one to judge him and no one to care about other than himself. Following the trail the Rhino mythic had left, Dax spread his wings and emerged into his full dragon form. He always forgot how big he actually was as a dragon. He didn’t exactly understand the whole ‘reflectioned’ form that the scientist had babbled about. (Mythic school wasn’t exactly fun for him).

Lifting into the air and gaining altitude, Dax looked back towards his predators that were to distracted by their poor lack in teamwork. Although the monsters were ruthless, they didn’t seem book smart either, which comforted Dax to an extent. However, this also made him cringe as he compared himself to murders. Once, he wanted to be like that. Now, that he had experienced their viciousness first hand he wanted nothing to do with them.

Gliding past one of the mountains, Dax laughed in awe. Before him were valleys, open land… He believed those were called pastures. Behind him, a vast forest (with the path of the rhino mythic running in a scribbled, then a straight line when she realized she was missing out on all the action. In seeing this, Dax made a note… Don’t make that big of a fool of himself.

Riding the wind, Dax allowed himself to follow the current since his predators didn’t seem to be able to see him. The time was long but an enjoyable peace as it took two hours to find the first civilization. For a moment, Dax began to lose altitude before he thought to himself, even if he were to escape that simply… The first civilization that came into radius of the City of Relics would be the first humanly place to look. So, despite his hunger and curiosity Dax continued to fly until he passed two more civilization. At that point, the sun was fully awake and accompanying him on his journey.

Scanning the overwhelming land beneath him, Dax spotted two possible stops. A city, well built, but not encircled by a wall, meaning that it wasn’t another City of Relics, and a very tiny village off the side of a mountain. Seeing that the village was technically closer in altitude, Dax darted for the village. He didn’t have much with him. He had his I.D, his documents folded up into his back pocket, and no money, considering his money consisted on his I.D which only worked in a city similar to the City of Relics.

A part of him glanced back over at the huge city in the distance, he could fly there in no time at all. And, he could use the money on a chance in a bigger city. However, he hadn’t interacted with anyone outside of the city. Besides other mythics and scientist he didn’t exactly know what to think about people who weren’t part something else. Taking a landing less than an half a mile from the village, Dax inhaled then began to walk, returning to his boy form.

On the way to the village ran a good sized river. Approaching it, Dax knelt by the water to cup his hands and drink. Meeting the eyes of his dragon self, Dax stepped back in confusion. Feeling his body, he shook his head. Why was he looking into the dragon side of him rather than a normal reflection of himself. Thinking back to the city, Dax thought of a mirror and being able to see his ‘human’ self in the mirror. Why was the water different?

Feeling an itch in his throat, Dax frowned, turn to the river, closed his eyes and cupped his hands for a drink. After he had quenched his thirst he opened his eyes again and stared into a reflection of his dragon self. Reaching out to the water, Dax watched in awe as his dragonhide reflected off of his hand, his claws shimmered and were spread.

“I don’t understand…” Dax said to himself, hearing his voice for the first time since he had left the city. He seemed confused but calm, amazed and frightened by the sight. Getting up, Dax touched his arm for a second time, he could feel the human skin on his arm and the hair that grew on them. Turning away from the river, Dax continued to walk towards the village. Hopefully, this village would be aware of what a ‘mythic’ was and hopefully he wouldn’t be walking into the village with his dragon self as a shadow lingering behind.

To frighten the village would be terrible. All he wanted to do was introduce himself and investigate. Stopping in his tracks, he paused for a moment to think about his voice. What if they didn’t speak the same language as he did at the city? Even though he internally knew some languages (his tradition folklore background was the reason for that) he didn’t want to believe one hundred percent that every language that was spoken outside or inside the the city would align.

Then again, he thought to himself as he took a few steps towards the village, what if the village hated mythics? What if they ate mythics? No, wait. He laughed at himself as the thought occured. He was a dragon. Dragons don’t die that easily. And even then, he had evaded a rhino mythic that was destructive along with a gryphon which wasn’t exactly the easiest to persuade to share. In this case, he’d be the predator but he also didn’t want to seem vicious.

Throwing ideas in and out of his mind, Dax pushed on. It was either the village or the city that he had spotted and he chose to stop at this village since there was less people and a more likelihood of a personal interaction rather than a business one. Stepping foot into the village, he watched as people passed him as if he didn’t exist.

Panic arose in the pit of his stomach. How did he see his dragon self, feel his human self and his dragon self for that matter and still be invisible. Gripping his hand into a fist, Dax looked around the village, it was a lot smaller in person. Heading in a random direction, Dax sighed. Hopefully, there wasn’t something wrong with him.

Week Nine: Unhinged: Fate II

In devastation Loun screamed. All around him another building collapsed. Breathing in slowly, Loun closed his eyes and thought of a dimension he wanted to appear in. Breathing out, he opened his eyes to see a girl, standing in front of another. Feeling his own physical fingers, Loun took a moment to take in his breath, then listened to the girl.

“Odd to learn how fragile a vessel is.” A gentle voice spoke from afar. “However, you’re not advanced enough to know how to fix anything physically yet, young Guardian.”

Eye’s narrowing, Loun looked at the girl as she turned to look for a physical form for the voice. This girl, a Guardian? She was completely inexperienced. Was this part of his test? To help this ‘Guardian’?

Cursing, Loun watched in the shadows as the voice appeared as a physical form of the ‘Guardian’s best friend’. Shaking his head, he continued to observing the girl. This Guardian, how could she have been given the title? What was so important about her?

“That’s the tenth building, Loun. When are you going to accept the fact that you’re missing ‘something’?” Thiy asked, receiving a subtle glance.

“Fine.” Loun said as he watched the girl. But I am the Guardian, so why is this girl also the Guardian?” He questioned slightly aggravated.

“You teleported yourself to safety, which usually would bring you to your own dimension, but this girl is important.” Thiy commented. “Maybe what you’re missing has to do with her.”

“I can see her.” Loun spat. “In the same way as I can see that you are a spirit from the spirit world, I can see that she is a guardian, and that…” He said, gesturing to the thing impostering her best friend. “That is…” Loun’s eyes narrowed. “Thiy, what is that?”

They laughed as it hovered next to Loun. “Your eyes are not lying to you. I will tell you that.”

Focusing on the imposter’s aura, Loun shook his head. “If I interject, she won’t believe me.”

The spirit shrugged as it wavered in and out of view. “What got you to believe in the powers of the Guardian and the worlds around you?”

“That.” Loun said as he crossed his arms. “Is a good question.” Loun said more to himself than the spirit.

“If I am missing something.” He sighed. “And the Guardian’s abilities lead me to her, then how should I approach her? That thing…” He shook his head. “If left unattended will eat her from her core…” He smirked. “But if I appear as is, she won’t want to speak to me.”

“Then become appealing to her eyes.” Thiy suggested. “Like the imposter there.”

“I can’t physically do that.” Loun said, shaking his head.

“Her mind is anew.” Thiy reminded him.

“Right.” He said then tapped his foot. “For now, we wait, and then I shall act.” He said, coating himself in the dimension’s aura.

To Fhei, he wouldn’t appear but with enough power, he would be visible. Loun watched silently as the imposter interacted with the guardian. She was young, and first discovering her powers. Meaning, she had to go through a traumatic experience to spiral her into this safe haven. Physically, she was safe. Mentally, projecting herself into another dimension exposing herself to a world she wouldn’t understand. This is why Luan awaited in the shadows to see if she was worth saving. He also waited to see how he could teach her, for each person was different. From his experience he remembered how stubborn he was to accept the fate that had been laid out for him but now, he couldn’t imagine going back to innocent ignorant him.

Being the Guardian meant much responsibility and understanding. There had to be an understanding that there was more than one world, that the universe was not the only one. At first, he thought of it as extended science, however, when it came to the spirit world, that through science out of any logic. There were dimensions and pockets of space between dimensions. Being the Guardian meant being in one place and yet another. Not only that but there was also the conscious and subconscious mind and actions.

Where would he begin? Loun wondered as he watched the girl. It took him a couple of deaths before he understood anything. When he first came to realization he lost his brother. One moment, they were in the living room playing a game of cars, the next moment, his brother wasn’t breathing. Then again, in his realm, the spiritual world was more dominant and being attacked by spirits was somewhat normal.

For now, all he could do was configure. Besides, the untouchable forces of the universes controlled what people considered ‘fate’. To Loun, there wasn’t much room for ‘believing’. There was reality in which most people considered fantasy and there was the actual reality, which he couldn’t explain to the world. Through this new guardian Loun thought about how her life was and how it would be. How certain references wouldn’t cross. He was tempted to go into her world and research but the Force brought him to her so she had to be an asset in his life or vice versa.

Closing his eyes, Loun focused in on the Guardian’s memories. Even though she wasn’t able to access them, it would be a walk in the park for him. Although, he would have to be careful considering he was stronger than her. If he pushed her too much subconsciously, she would pass out and wake up in more utter confusion. Reaching for the memory he was searching for, Loun brought it to the forefront. What traumatic event triggered her first reaction to her true abilities? Inhaling, Loun pushed out of her mind and faced her. Cursing, he watched as she fell to the floor, unconscious, baffling the imposter.

Approaching the two, Loun uncloaked himself then turned to the imposter. “The only reason why you’re alive is because I need intel from you.” He warned. “Other than that, you make the wrong move and I will cease you from existence.”
