Vampires:

Myth arrived in west and hold true Easter European tales  (having no reflection, morphing into bats)

Werewolf:

Skin: Dappled brow and grey sometimes tipped with white.
Eyes: Yellow or Blue
Signs: Savaged livestock; flattened bracken; characteristic claw prints left in soft ground.

Leviathen:

Mentioned in book of Job in Old Testament (exist before old testament) ‘long before God created Earth. Reappear to end the world.
Skin: Blue/Black
Eyes: Dark
Sign: Armageddon

Kraken: Orig: Norway: 20th century…?

Mer-creatures: Greek Mythology

Minotaur: Greek Mytholgy. 

  Offspring of Queen Pasiphar, Wing of Minos of Crete, resulted, trapped in Labyrinth for not sacrificing child to Poseidon. Slain by Theseus

Skin: Golden brown hide with dense bristly fur. Fur tone cvaries from black to dark blond, depending on familial characterizes
Eyes: Hazel or Dark Brown
Signs: Scratches on tree trunks, wooden post, where horns have been used to mark territory.

Sphinx: 
Greek, head of a woman body of a lion. Winged monster of Therbes. Curse sent by gods. Allowed no one to leave of enter the city. Egypt: human heads or of other animals. The Great Sphinx od Giza most famous. Colossal statue is a nation symbol of Egypt
                                                                       
Sandwalker: Bedouin tribes of desert.

Giant Worm
Skin: Pale pink and luminous green extremities . 
Eyes: Black
Sign: Crushed and glittered undergrowth devastation

Kropecharon: insect like under 3ft. Cunning primitive look. Civilized social units. Live in tribes in salt water, mangroves, and estuaries, fishing and hunting for survival. Crabs and beetles as livestock. Fashioning tools and weapons from their shells.

Troll: 
Scandinavian folklore. Dislike light. Dwell in forest and dark places. Night only. Omnivores spending most of their waking hours looking for food. 6 to 7 feet Rarely friendly.

Skin: Dark Green-brown fur turning mottled grey with age
Eyes: Pale blue-green
Sign: Tendency to make nest under bridges, random piles of small stones, because dropping petrifies on contact with the air.

Centaur: Horse/human offspring of Pegasus (winged horse) others believe they were birth of Ixion, kind of the Lapiths, as punishment for his murderous and depraved ways. Savage behaviors.

Yeti (Abominable Snowman): Nonaggressive creature located in the Himalayas. Walks in two legs. Bear or ape. Hybrid


My plan is to over every mythology creature I run into through a story of some kind so be ready!
